My name is Catherine Hardin. I am a small breeder of quality medium and standard multigeneration Australian Labradoodles.
I first became aware of Labradoodles when I was searching for a service dog to assist my mother. In my continued search through various breeds, I kept returning to Labradoodles. The more I researched these remarkable dogs, the more fascinated I became. My mother passed away before we were able to purchase a service dog for her, but I was hooked on Labradoodles. I was in Iraq at the time, so my sister agreed to take care of the new arrivals on her own until I was able to return home. We purchased our first two female puppies, Aly and Branna, from Rutland Manor in Australia and our first stud, Logie, from Tegan Park in Australia. I was lucky enough to be home on R&R for their arrival in the United States. And the love story began.
We do not have kennels for our dogs. Our Australian Labradoodles live with us as pampered members of our family. They cuddle with us on the sofa and snuggle with us in bed every night. The puppies are whelped in our home where mom and babies are cared for and hovered over 24 hours a day.
Our family bred champion quarter horses so we grew up knowing and understanding the commitment, hard work and devotion required developing a quality breeding program. With that knowledge and experience, our goal is to breed exceptional Australian Labradoodles with superior health and temperaments. Our Labradoodle breeding dogs are chosen for their sweet and loving personalities. We do extensive health testing on each of our parent Labradoodles. Everything we do at His Acre Australian Labradoodles directly affects the quality, health and future of the dogs in our program, as well as the developing breed. Because of this, we feel a responsibility to research and understand genetics, common breed problems and the particular lines we plan to perpetuate. When we breed, it is with the intentions of contributing to the improvement of this amazing breed.
What an incredible and joyful experience it has been bringing these amazing dogs into our lives. Today we have
Aly, Branna, Gwennie , and Logie. We have recently relocated to Central Texas and are enjoying living in the beautiful Texas Hill Country where there is plenty of room to romp, swim and explore.
