Adoption Information and Pricing

We would like to thank you for your interest in our Labradoodles, and are pleased to provide this information for you. We hope that it addresses most of your initial questions. Please contact us with any questions or if you would like additional information regarding His Acre, our breeding program, our amazing Labradoodles or labradoodles in general.

Adoption Process

The cost of a beautiful His Acre Labradoodle puppy is $2,500.00 unless otherwise noted.

Applications require a non-refundable booking fee of $250.00. The booking fee is applied toward the purchase of your puppy. Puppies are reserved on a first come first serve basis.

The final payment of $2,250.00 plus any travel expenses for your puppy are due by the time the puppies are 6 weeks of age. If by any chance we are unable to provide you with a suitable puppy within 6 months of receiving your application and booking fee you will have the option of having your booking fee completely refunded.

Once we receive your application and booking fee you will be put on the waiting list for the litter you requested. You will receive updates on expectant mom's health, vet visits and progress. When the puppies are born we will contact you and email you pictures of the litter. We will provide you with pictures and updates weekly (more often is possible).

At approximately 6 weeks of age we will put the puppies through basic temperament testing to help determine personality traits and energy levels to assist in matching you with a puppy that best suits your family. We will then send you our Contract of Sale and Health Warranty for you to sign and send back to us prior to your puppy going home.

At approximately 8 weeks old your puppy will finally be able to go to their forever home.

A puppy’s most important behavioral needs during his first seven weeks are exposure to mild stress (limited holding and touching during first 2 weeks), a stimulating environment (walking on new surfaces and investigating new objects beginning at 3 weeks), and individual attention (reinforcing domestication and helping the puppy develop a feeling of his importance as an individual beginning at 5 weeks – beginning of socialization).

We take our responsibility in meeting each puppy’s needs during these critical developmental phases very seriously; however, we also look at fulfilling these needs as a genuine labor of love.

We understand how hard it is to wait. When you get your new puppy, we believe that you will agree it has been well worth it!

Travel

There are several options in getting your puppy home. You can pick up your puppy at our home at no charge, we can deliver your puppy to you within a certain distance, we can meet you at the Houston, Austin or San Antonio airport with your puppy and it can fly home with you, or we can ship your puppy to you at your expense. We ship puppies worldwide. All puppies have begun crate training and are prepared for travel by acclimating them to a variety of people, noises, and activities. Most puppies sleep during the trip, and arrive happy and ready to go to their new home – stress free.

We ship our puppies via a service that specializes in transporting pets (i.e. Dogtainers). We take care of the arrangements for you, provide the IATA approved crate for travel and let you know the travel times and air fare to your location. We stay in touch with you while your puppy is traveling to keep you up-to-date on their adventure.

Frequent flier or air-miles can not be used for travel arrangements; however, the puppy’s travel can be added to your frequent flier travel miles.
