In the event of emergence of any genetic disorder during the first two years as diagnosed by two qualified veterinarians, one of whom is selected by Breeder, Breeder agrees to one of the following:
- Refund veterinary expenses up to 100% of the original purchase price, or at Purchaser(s)’ option,
- Replace the dog with one of equivalent quality from the first litter bred by Breeder.
We do not under any circumstances make you return your puppy to us or have it put down.
All puppies undergo an extensive health exam by our veterinarian, are de-wormed, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations to ensure puppies are in good health and free from parasites before leaving Breeder’s facilities. Further, Breeder warrants that both sire and dam’s hips have been x-ray’d and evaluated by either The University of Pennsylvania Hip Improvement Program (PennHIP) or Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) in the United States or by the appropriate certifying body in “Country of Origin”. Both sire and dam have been found to be free of canine hip dysplasia. The eyes of both sire and dam have been examined by a veterinary ophthalmologist and are free of inherited eye disorders.
Breeder strongly urges that Purchaser have their veterinarian examine the puppy within 72 hours of receipt of the puppy . The puppy may be returned to Breeder for any reason within the first 72 hours following receipt of the puppy. Provided the puppy has not been damaged in any way Purchaser will be entitled to a refund of the original purchase price.
Any dog that has competed in agility before the age of eighteen (18) months will also not be covered. A dog that has been physically injured is not covered by this guarantee.
This guarantee is only applicable to the original Purchaser of the puppy. If the puppy has been sold or given away, the health guarantee becomes void.
